Florists and Photoshop - inspiration, education, and a brief update

I did this shoot last August for He Loves Me Flowers by Charity.   Not only is Charity a genuinely kind-hearted person but also an incredibly talented florist, and it has been awesome to see her business grow as fast as it has.  Congrats on your success so far, Charity, and here's to many more years of it!

One of my favorite aspects of photography is the post processing; toying with the look of a photo to make it look exactly how I imagine it to.  I found a channel on youtube a while back that has taught me a lot about photoshop and helped me with this process, it's called Phlearn. It's awesome, it's free, check it out!

On a personal note, these past few months have been busy and crazy and they're all a blur to me now. A quick update; I got a new part-time job at a new cafe (so come by and get some coffee,) I haven't been doing as many shoots lately but I'm learning a lot in this season and the inspiration is piling up. I'm a featured artist in a gallery here in my home town (which is something I could foresee becoming a consistent thing in the future.) And I've got a new instillation to my Graveyard Series coming out this Halloween! New projects, new people, and I'm stoked to share it all.

Have a great week end and enjoy the photos.
